~ 2014 HAWAIIAN PINEAPPLE CLASSIC RECAP
Dear BGGC Team Parents:
It is hard to believe we have had our 8th Hawaiian Pineapple! Visiting coaches, parents and athletes relay positive feedback on our hospitality, organization and the general atmosphere of the competition. We couldn’t have done it without the help of our wonderful parents and athletes. I would also like to recognize and give a special Thank You to the parents who spent endless hours helping: Gretchen Constantine, Doug Hoerston, Anne Jensen, Lisa Riles, and Michelle Zurlo.
The proceeds from the raffle went to the Elyssa’s Mission Foundation. This organization provides resources in a lot of Local schools to support teen suicide prevention. This organization is dear to Gregg’s heart to help a friend who lost his daughter to suicide. The competition raised $2,300. Buffalo Grove Gymnastics Center added to this to bring the total to $5,000
